Commercial visits in United States
In November, a technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A. visited the United States to meet representatives from leading poultry, pig and turkey farms interested in the use of natural additives to improve health and nutrition of their animals. In addition, on Wednesday 6 November, Dr. Júlia Pié gave the conference ‘Use of Natural Multifunctional in Animal Production’ in the framework of the Symposium on Gut Health that was held in St. Louis (Missouri).
In January, Biovet will be at ‘MVC: Cereals-Mixed Feeds-Veterinary Exhibition’ in Moscow
For the frist time, Biovet will have representation at the exhibition ‘MVC:Cereals-Mixed Feeds-Veterinary’ to be held in January, 28-30 2020 in Moscow. This exhibition has been held since 1996 and has established as one of the most important fairs in European and Asian market. Veterinarians, producers and professionals meet annually to share and exchange new ideas and knowledge.
Pronutrients, mycotoxin binders and natural preservatives in the Simposium Biovet in Golden Sands
On Saturday, 28 September 2019, Golden Sands (Varna, Bulgaria) held a workshop with conferences about the use of natural additives in animal nutrition. The event brought together around 50 veterinarians, producers and technicians from Rumania in a symposium which was organized by the distributor of Biovet in Rumania, Stelban Com S.R.L. and Biovet S.A.
Use of pronutrients and preservatives at the 32nd International Symposium of Biovet
The use of pronutrients in avian production, as well as its advantages in mitigating the impact of coccidia and necrotic enteritis were the main topics in the second session of the 32nd International Symposium of Biovet. It was held on May 27-28 at the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona, Spain.

Biovet presents trials on Alquernat Immuplus and Alquermix line in the PSA of Canada
From 15 to 18 July, Montreal will host the annual meeting of the Poultry Science Association. Biovet will present a poster about the use of Alquernat Immuplus and its efectiveness against hemorrhagic enteritis in turkeys; and also, a conference which will detail a trial with the multifunctional line Alquermix in broilers.
Effect of an intestinal optimizer in laying hens
The trial was conducted in Romania beetwen 2017 and 2018 with Isa Brown laying hens, and was aimed at preventing coccidiosis and minimizing economic losses related to the disease through the use of an intestinal optimizer.
Biovet held its 32nd International Symposium in Tarragona
Among the main topics of the meeting, the presentation of results obtained in trials carried out with Biovet products rich in pronutrients and other natural additives took an important role. The experiments were carried out in different countries with tilapias, trouts, broiler chickens, turkeys and goats.

Last February, Biovet S.A. visited some of the most important poultry producers in Peru. Dr. David Díez held technical training sessions on prevalent pathologies within the Peruvian avian sector, as well as the correct performance of necropsies in birds.
