Use of pronutrients to prevent protozoan diseases
Once more, Biovet S.A. has participated in the 14th edition of Turkey Science and Production Conference held from March 4-6 in Carden Park, Cheshire (UK). Turkey producers and companies related to the sector attended the congress held annually in this English city.

One more year, Biovet S.A. will participate at the ‘14th Turkey Science and Production Conference’ Turkey Times to be held from 4 to 6 March in Carden Park Hotel and Golf Resort in Chester (UK). This time, Dr. Júlia Pié, veterinarian of Biovet S.A., will give a lecture entitled ‘Protozoan diseases in turkeys: prevention and treatment’ scheduled on Friday 6th March at 11:10h.
Gut Health & Food Safety by using pronutrients
On Saturday 11th January, a technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A. travelled to Bangladesh to attend the seminar entitled ‘Gut Health and Food Safety by using pronutrients’. The workshop was organized by Doctor’s Agrovet, distributor of Biovet in the country, and veterinarians, producers and entrepreneurs attended the congress.
Technical visits in Malaysia and Myanmar
In November, a commercial and technical team of Biovet S.A. visited Malaysia and Myanmar to meet the distributors and main customers of the poultry sector. Natural products intended for the control of coccidia, mycotoxicosis and fungal contamination, more prevalent in humid climates, were the most prominent products during the meetings.
Technical visits in Europe
The reduction of antibiotics, the organic production and the presence of mycotoxins were the main problems detected during the trip. For this, pronutrient line was presented. It is a line composed of natural products which can replace antibiotics commonly used in animal production. For the adsorption of mycotoxins, the use of Alquerfeed Antitox, mycotoxin binder of Biovet S.A., was indicated.
Commercial visits in United States
In November, a technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A. visited the United States to meet representatives from leading poultry, pig and turkey farms interested in the use of natural additives to improve health and nutrition of their animals. In addition, on Wednesday 6 November, Dr. Júlia Pié gave the conference ‘Use of Natural Multifunctional in Animal Production’ in the framework of the Symposium on Gut Health that was held in St. Louis (Missouri).
In January, Biovet will be at ‘MVC: Cereals-Mixed Feeds-Veterinary Exhibition’ in Moscow
For the frist time, Biovet will have representation at the exhibition ‘MVC:Cereals-Mixed Feeds-Veterinary’ to be held in January, 28-30 2020 in Moscow. This exhibition has been held since 1996 and has established as one of the most important fairs in European and Asian market. Veterinarians, producers and professionals meet annually to share and exchange new ideas and knowledge.
Biovet expands its presence in Africa
From 17th to 19th a commercial team of Biovet S.A. participated in the 21 edition of Agrena held in the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo (Egypt). Biovet representatives attended the distributor’s stand to answer questions from those interested and strengthen the presence of the company in the African continent.
Participation in the OVUM and scientific meeting at UCSUR
From 9th to 11th October, Biovet S.A. attended the OVUM 2019 to present its natural solution to Latin America countries. The exhibition was held in Lima (Peru) and the main customers of the laboratory were received at the booth. Finally, the trip was closed with a training day on Scientific Methodology and Regulation in animal nutrition that was held at the Universidad Cientifica del Sur on Saturday, October 12.
