Alquermold Natural L reduces the contamination of Clostridium, E. coli and Salmonella by more than 96%
Recently, Biovet S.A. has carried out an in vitro trial which demonstrates the efficacy of the natural antimicrobial, Alquermold Natural, against Aspergillus, Clostridium, E. coli and Salmonella. Commonly, products based on combinations of different organic acids and formaldehyde are used for this purpose. However, they have certain disadvantages, such as corrosiveness and high doses. The effect of these two products was compared with that of Alquermold Natural in the trial.
Alquermold Natural, natural solution to control necrotic enteritis
On March 15, 2021 Biovet S.A. presented a trial in the Western Poultry Disease Conference (WPDC) about the use of cimenol ring to control necrotic enteritis in experimentally infected broilers. The results demonstrated cimenol ring’s efficacy against Clostridium perfringens which makes it effective to control necrotic enteritis.
Alquermold Natural for the control of microbial contamination in animal products for human consumption

Alquernat Nebsui and Alquermold Natural lead the first session of the Biovet International Symposium
The Biovet International Symposium started on Tuesday October 6, 2020. In this first session, entitled ‘Gut health challenges’, two trials were presented. The first one explained the use of intestinal conditioner pronutrients (Alquernat Nebsui) in comparison and combination with butyrate and prebiotics. The second one, was about the effect of Alquermold Natural in the prevention of necrotic enteritis.
