Symposium Biovet 2016: Swine pathology session

On Biovet International Symposium 2016 for the second consecutive year was held the session of swine Pathology. Presented by Drs. Nuria Martin and Julia Pie from Biovet S.A.

During the presentation wa exposed the 10 most common diseases which were identified by technical team of Biovet in the farm of the visited countries. This session began with some considerations that forensic veterinarians must take into account to establish the clinical diagnosis in the field. The session was followed by the presentation of images obtained in cases of mycosis, mycotoxicosis, the swine dermatitis-nephropathy syndrome (SDNP), pneumonic complex, swine proliferative enteritis, coccidiosis, encephalitis, dermatitis, infectious arthritis and abortions infectious. The session ended with reflections related to the importance of managing and nutrition for prevention of these diseases.
