Biovet International Symposium for Asia, which was held in Bangkok on March 17th, had a session about Alquermold Natural.

Alquermold Natural is a natural preservative with bactericidal and fungicidal activities for raw materials and balanced feed, which combines the cimenol ring (active principle from a natural origin, T. vulgaris) and citric acid are combined. Moreover, its addition to drinking water controls the main pathogenic microorganisms that colonize the intestine, such as Salmonella, E. coli, Clostridium, Staphylococcus, fungi and yeast. 

Dr. Sagar Goyal (University of Minnesota) presented two in vitro trials he had recently carried out about the use and efficacy of Alquermold Natural, where this product’s ability to control Salmonella and Clostridium was evaluated.

The trials’ results concluded that Alquermold Natural was effective at fighting these bacteria.
