A  technical and commercial team of Biovet S.A participated in the Gut Health Symposium held in Sant Louis (Missouri) on November 14.

The team shared a lecture about preservative Alquermold Natural, the conference was presented by Dr. Hamada A. Aboubakr from the University of Minnesota and Dr. Júlia Pié, technician from Biovet S.A.

Dr. Aboubakr presented an in vitro test on Alquermold Natural against Clostridium at different concentrations and different exposure times.

Next, Dr. Júlia Pié,  technician, presented another in vitro test on the same product to avoid infection of enterocytes by Salmonella.

Both tests demonstrate the effectiveness of this product against these microorganisms. Alquermold Natural is a broad spectrum bacteriocide and microbiocide.
