Biovet Symposium for Asia was held on March 17th in Bangkok and was inaugurated by Dr. Sittiporn, CP Animal Health Business Group Thailand president, who welcomed Biovet’s team and thanked the congress participants for attending.  The assistants showed interest in Biovet S.A.’s new research projects and products, especially in pronutrients.

After the opening, Dr. Jaime Borrell conducted the following sessions about Alquernat Immuplus, Alquermold Natural, Alquernat Zycox, European Legislation of Feed Additives and Alquernat Nebsui. The event was attended by researchers, distributors and clients from China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.

The first session was about Alquernat Immuplus’ mechanism of action, a natural immunebooster that boosts the animal’s specific and unspecific immune system. It strengthens immunity in young animals (due to the immaturity of their immune system) and in fast growing or highly prolific animals. Anna Tesouro, Biovet’s product development manager, was in charge of the first part of this conference; followed by Dr. Yu, from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, who presented some trials that prove the efficacy of Alquernat Immuplus.
