On 12 october Biovet S.A. attended the seminar about swine held in the resort Fortuna Club in Pukhovka (Kiev). The event was organized by the company Belvet LLC, distributor of Biovet in Ukraine, where has been presented several conferences on nutrition and swine reproduction.

Biovet S.A participated in this event with a lecture – the use of immunostimulating pronutrients in the swine industry. During the session were explained the main pronutrients used as immunostimulants and their mechanism of action. Thus, in vitro and in vivo studies were presented to demonstrate their efficacy in improving productive parameters and stimulation of the immune system.

The conference highlighted the increase of immunoglobulins in both growing animals as well as the increase of IgA in the colostrum of breeding sows, thus affecting the decrease of subclinical diseases.
